Golf

We have many well-known to WORLD FAMOUS Golf Courses around us, you can play every day on a different one!! Golf courses include: SIMOLA, PEZULA, PINACLE POINT, FANCOURT and OUBAAI to name just a few! For the not so professional there is a 2x9 hole Golf Course 5 min away, also with Bar and Restaurant.

Whale Watching

Between July and October the Southern Right Whales are on our coast !!! They come to calve and to mate. These kind of whales swim directly beyond the surf. They can reach 14m in length. You spot them easely from our flats, the beach or from a Whale Watch Boat Trip !!! Other species of whales can be seen all year round, but offshore and only during a Boat Trip.

Game Drives

GAME DRIVES in malaria free zone !!! A number of GAME LODGES can be reached in less then one hour. You can watch THE BIG FIVE and enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Shark Cage Diving

Mossel Bay is well known as The Shark City. You can do an adventure trip on a SHARK CAGE DIVING BOAT and watch this very interesting animal face to face!! THE GREAT WHITE !!!

Seal Island

There is a SEAL ISLAND very close to the coast, where 2 boats run regulary to watch these playful, lovely animals!

Scuba Diving

Dont miss a dive down to one of many wonderful REEF´S close to MOSSEL BAY´S COAST or just a dive along the rocks and dolosse, where you can feed and pat the elegant smaller kind of sharks!

Fisherman´s Paradise

The whole area here is also a FISHERMAN´S DELIGHT whether from the beach, the surf, in the RIVER LAGOON or by boat, offshore!

Bird Watching

The whole area around GREAT BRAK RIVER is also well known for BIRD WATCHING as we have so many different vegetation like FYNBOS,
3 RIVERMOUTH LAGOONS, FORESTS etc.

Hiking

If your HOBBY is HIKING walk along our spectacular ROCK COAST TRAILS, a guided tour can make you familiar with Southern Africa´s FIRST inhabitants, as you can visit The KHOISAN CAVES! Also something different is a NIGHT WALK along the BEACH or the nearby ROCKPOOLS with a torch in your hand you can discover the nightlife on the coast!!
